|
Remember the 2009-2010 music season by purchasing DVDs of Various performances of the FHS Marching Band, Jazz Bands, Orchestras, and Jazz Choirs; as well as various performances of FMS and SMS Intermediate Band, Advanced Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Bands. Please fill out the form and email or call the DVD Contact (see box) to acquire the DVDs. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THESE DVDS BENEFIT THE MUSIC BOOSTERS! The DVDs will be available as of May 31st 2010. Each single DVD is $10. Please take a look at the attached flyer to order DVDs that captured the various events this year.

| · | Folsom High was named a "JAMMIES" Signature School by the the Sacramento News and Review in 2008. |
| · | Music Director, Mr. Curtis Gaesser received the Sacramento Music Educators Outstanding Achievement Award in 2008. |

| · | Our Marching Band swept the 2007 Fairfield Tournament of Champions with Visual Sweepstakes, Music Sweepstakes, Overall Field Sweepstakes, High Brass (best in all divisions), and High Woodwinds (best in all divisions). |
| · | In 2008, our town of Folsom was selected as one of the Best Communities for Music Education by National Association of Music Merchants Foundation. Of the 110 school districts selected across the U.S., only 2 communities were from California: Folsom and Santa Monica. |
| About the Folsom Music Boosters | |
| Our primary mission is to promote music education at Folsom High School by: | |
| · | Supporting events and competitions hosted by Folsom High School and attended by a various high schools throughout California and beyond. |
| · | Organizing local fund-raising activities and grants intended to supplement school district budgets related to music programs at Folsom High. |
| · | Representing Folsom High School Music interests to the Folsom/Rancho Cordova Unified School District Board of Trustees. |
| · | Assisting Folsom and Sutter middle school music departments whenever possible. |
| · | Partnering with local civic organizations, such as the Folsom Lyons and Folsom Athletics Association in order to support the youth in our community. |
| · | Keeping Booster parents and alumni informed of our activities. |
