The 2015 Folsom Jazz Festival will be held on Saturday, January 24th, 2015 from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, and it promises to be an exciting day of entertainment.

This year’s guest artists are Grammy nominated saxophonist Ben Wendel, the Sacramento State Jazz Ensemble and the American River College Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Plus over 100 middle school and high school jazz bands, vocal jazz choirs, and jazz combos from all over California and Nevada will compete throughout the day at this family-friendly event. This must-attend Festival is the largest jazz competition in our State.
The Folsom Jazz Festival will take place at two locations: Folsom High School in Folsom and Rolling Hills Christian Church in El Dorado Hills. Tickets are $12 Adults, $9 Seniors, Children, and Students with ID (which includes entrance all day at both locations).

12:00 PM — Sacramento State Jazz Ensemble (FHS Theater); All Bands will have a break at this time. Please be back at venues at 1:00 pm to prepare for the next band. Choirs will not have a break for this
3:00 PM — Concert/Clinic at RHCC Multipurpose (Building B) American River College Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Bands do not have a break at this time
5:30 PM — Tear down FHS venues and help load equipment
6:00 PM — Evening Concert/Awards features Grammy nominated saxophonist Ben Wendel and his group in the RHCC Auditorium (without Jazz Band 1).
